The company that later became Råda Plåt & Svets and is now known as Råda Industries was founded as early as 1973, when Jan-Olof ”Johan” Johansson started manufacturing sheet metal parts in Mölnlycke. During his time as owner, Johan managed to build several loyal and stable customer relationships.
During 2001, current co-owner Patrik Bogfors took over operations. Much has happened since then. In addition to increasing turnover from 3 to 96 million SEK, Råda Industries has invested in a new machinery park, a new welding department, new offices, and welcomed several new colleagues.
At the turn of the year 2017/2018, Patrik handed over the CEO role to Anders Rytterstig, who had already worked in leading roles within the company for several years. Just in time for its 20th anniversary, Råda Industries also acquired the surface treatment company Prestanda Lacktjänst, now Råda Coating.
During the summer/autumn of 2025, we moved into newly renovated production and office premises at Fraktvägen 4 in Mölnlycke.
Who we are
Today, Råda Industries consists of about 40 employees who help you find the right solution. We manufacture and design processed metal products that can be customized for small or medium-sized series. Through close cooperation with our customers, we always ensure that their ideas become reality.
In the spring of 2021, we became the majority shareholder of the industrial coating company Råda Coating, welcoming 11 new colleagues who have since grown to 20. Råda Coating possesses a high level of expertise, specializes in complex industrial coating, and has been a longstanding supplier to us for many years. By taking our collaboration to new levels, we improve lead times, ensure quality, and increase competitiveness, which ultimately benefits our customers.
We are a complete partner with a wide range of services and products. Using our extensive network of contacts, our expertise, and our modern machinery, we ensure that all products are developed and delivered efficiently. We always tailor what we do to every new need, with the right materials and level of quality.
Where we are going
We have managed to grow a lot in recent years, both organically and through the acquisition of existing businesses, but we are far from finished. Over the next few years, we want to bring in even more knowledgeable colleagues and inspiring clients.
